Halo 3 multiplayer tips can be found all over the Internet, but here is one new tip for the High Ground Map that you have not see before.

First, you should travel to the side of the map with the lake - It’s opposite of the base at the bottom of the hill. While facing the water, turn to your immediate right and walk or jump up to the path that runs up the cliff and along the side of the map.

If you happen to spawn or jump up there, just keep on running forwards and you’ll discover a couple tasty treats at the end of the path. The first is a Battle Rifle and an the second treat is the all-powerful Over Shield. A great combination for protecting yourself and shooting the enemy from a long distance. Make sure you grab both because this Halo 3 tip requires lots of ammunition.

As you probably guessed, you should snatch both items as quickly as possible and get comfortable in that same location. There should be a boulder to your right that you can use to hide behind so you will not be seen or to shield you from enemy gun fire.

This is why this specific location on High Ground is an excellent camping ground for a few reasons:

1. An Over Shield & a Battle Rifle constantly respawn frequently right next to you
2. The rocks and trees provide excellent cover from gun fire and grenades, and it really makes it difficult for the enemy to even see you
3. If you’re keeping an eye on your radar, there’s almost no chance the enemy will sneak up behind you because you can view almost the entire map
4. You’ll have a clear view at both tunnels and the main open area of the map which allows you to watch your teammates and help them win battles in the middle of the map

If you’ve got a Halo team that communicates well, you should win any match on High Ground easily. Just tell your team to stay in the middle of the map near the lake side. That way, they can distract all of the enemy troops on the ground while you can use the Battle Rifle to remove the enemy’s shields and allow your team to earn lots of kills.
